Badrinath or Badrinarayan Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu, Badrinath is a holy town and a nagar panchayat in Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. The temple was built by Pandavas and revived by Adi Sankaracharya and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the holiest Hindu shrines of Shiva. Kedarnath temple is one of the highest among the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in Uttrakhand state.
